Variatel.De
Challenge
Variatel.de, a German network provider, faced a significant challenge with its outdated website. The site suffered from a confusing user journey, a lack of a cohesive brand identity, and an inefficient page hierarchy. The goal was to revitalize the digital presence to improve user experience, increase sales, and strengthen brand recognition in a competitive market.
Expected Results
The project's success is anticipated in the positive feedback from both the client and future users. The intuitive design and clear messaging are expected to lead to a significant increase in user engagement and conversion rates, directly impacting the company's sales. The new brand identity is projected to position Variatel.de as a more modern and reliable provider in the German market.
Behind the Scenes
I started by conducting a competitor analysis of companies like Lyca, Ortel, and Lebara. This research was crucial for understanding user needs and identifying best practices for displaying plan and service details. Based on these insights, I developed the new information architecture and wireframes, which were then approved by the company's founder. The project proceeded from design experimentation to final designs and a successful handover.
